The phone isn't FCC approved yet AT ALL. Nothing on their site anywhere... so stop making false claims. The phone most likely won't ever come out. It's already deemed outdated because of it's long time rumors. There have been pictures of this thing since like last january. I have a feeling within the next couple months the i605 will be out. Candy bar style phone with bluetooth, and then after that i'm not sure but it will be a few more months. Nextel doe showever supposedly have plans for a large edition to their phone selection throughout 2005, but as far as the i930 goes, shutup

Yeah, thats what I was thinking as well.
A little too much to spend on a cell phone, IMHO.
Especially since we all like to switch phones so often.

Beta phones are given to certain employees of nextel, big wigs, not anyone working at the local retail sales store. they are also given to the top couple high volume private nextel authorized sales facilities. there is now way to just ask to be a beta tester. otherwise everyone would have one and it would no longer be a beta but a not tested released phone.

I am starting to see the new beta's released, but still have not heard anything on the fcc approval, I would say late march at the earliest.
