the new phone will not be activated until you call to activate it, when you recieve the phone just put in your old sim and you will be up and running. you will have not interuptions in service.

I am ordering a new phone from nextel tomorrow and I know that when the phone ships my current sim card will be deactivated and the one with my new phone will be activated. I want to keep my old sim card and I dont want to lose service for a night while the new phone is in shipping. Is there any way i can reactivate my old sim after it is shut off tomorrow? Is there any way to reactivate my old sim card online? Thanks
