well, I have no knowledge of what it means to "re-flash" something. BUT, I don't think anything is possible when the phone wont even turn on!
When did you buy your phone? It probably has a 1 year mfg warranty

Damn... Is there any way to re-flash the thing myself? I'll try to take it back, but I think I may be too late...

The same thing happened to me~ You'll have to bring it to be replaced. Hope your phone isn't too old, it should still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. I wouldn't mention that you were using the data cable. Just tell them all of a sudden it wont turn on... they shouldn't question you any further. I know... it sucks, but it is your only option. You've messed up your phone's software.

Look on the bright side... you've got everything saved onto your computer's hard drive!!

I've been using a data cable along with BitPim for my phone (LG 6190) successfully for weeks, but just today I went into BitPim to import my Outlook calendar information (which it said it did). I then tried to reboot my phone, but now upon booting up, it just "hangs" on the Telus logo and then shuts itself off after a couple of minutes.

Could it be that the filesystem has become corrupted? I had made an entire backup of the phone's filesystem a couple of weeks ago, but I have no way of getting in so that I can actually restore it.

Anyways, hope someone out there can help out

    Rob
