    Finally solved my own issue...this passcode is a security feature enabled with the screen saver. It is similar to the Windows OS in the way that once the screen-saver is activated, it can require a password to allow access to the system.

    PS. Anybody have a link to 'hacks' or other unpublished codes for this handset?

    I have a SL56 with Cingular.

    I want to disable the annoying passcode. Unlike my old Nokia which only required a PIN when you turned it on, this handset requires it after 3-4 minutes of sitting in standby. Its a PIA and I'd like to kill the feature. Any suggestions?
