old school artists would include krs 1, mc shan, ll cool j, public enemy, bdp, masta ace. i enjoy all those artists as well but ur making an opinion off sumtin u havent listened to. yes there are songs that talk about the norm (drugs, sex, hoes, cash, guns) but there are songs that show talent and a different sense of entertainment.

i know what ur talking about saying theyre trash like lyrics from juelz (im a baller, youre not a baller, see your daughter daughter, imma call her call her) but there are good songs.

not all songs have to include amazing lyrical talent, dont expect to go to a club and expect all the girls grooving to the latest canibus track, its entertainement

u can say what u want about dipset and I'm always going to respect someone else's opinions but nobody will ever convince me that the diplomats has any real mic skills at all..hiphop as a whole doesn't impress me anymore and rarely gets my attention and I'm sick to my stomach of all these artists thinking they can build an album off of one-liners..I'm a fan of old school artists and the few artists today who rap about content other than drugs, guns, f*cking someone else's girl, or how fly they are i.e Nas, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Busta Rhymes and others..dipset is complete trash..but like I said, I like their beats lol

^dipset is straight fire, youre just listening to the poor songs where cam'ron or juelz is spittin a garbage verse where he starts saying nonsense about urangatangs n ish. listen to come home with me, diplomatic immunity 2, jim jones on my way to church, jr writer writers block 2, back like cooked crack 2, or any of un kasa, purple city, sas.

"WHEN I SAY NO HOMO YOU CAN BET YOUR BALLS I MEANT IT! CHEA!"
