    So, any suggestions? is there's any option to make the midi ringtones legal? maybe to change the names of the ringtones??

    That's a big relief, since I do offer free ringtones and all are MIDI. Are you sure about it? Maybe it's illegal to offer the ringtones with the exact artist and song name or something like this?

    If its MP3 you're screwed... you ARE using THEIR material without license. MIDI ringtones are sneaking round as "Interperetations of anothers' work"...

    as long as you are not making money from the "selling" of those MIDI's (because you would be selling another's intellectual property using their song) you should be okay

    Hi all,
    Im running a free ringtones site, and I dont have any liscense for my content.
    Yesterday I got an email from 'MCPS-PRS Alliance, the licensing body representing songwriters, publishers and composers in the UK' asking for licsense. Does anybody has expirience with them, or is there's anyway I can turn my ringtones legal by changing there names or something similar?
