Is this near the part your looking for??

    If not, just use psmplayer,

open the midi file in psp player, play it and note the numbers that move in the kinda top left of the pspplayer!!

Something like 123/1168 etc, where the 123 will keep moving up as the song progresses!!

Now, when you get to the bit you want, look at those numbers lets say its 940/1168!!

Now, click the little scissors button on the pspplayer and in the first box enter 900 and in the second enter 1168!

Now click file and create mid, save it and your done!!

Hope this helps, heres the mid i made and the psm player, pm me if it dont work for ya!!!

It wont actually let me upload the psm player but you'll find it on the forums somewhere!!!

Thanks, a couple of those versions aren't too bad. Problem is that I need a bit that's about 3 to 3.5 minutes into the song, but I have no idea how to edit a midi file to get just that bit...

    Hi all

I'm trying to obtain the theme tune that used to accompany the BBC's coverage of Formula One motor racing, which was an instrumental from the end of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain". Several sites offer this to purchase, but unfortunately none of them are compatible with my cell phone provider.

Anybody have (or can make) a good version of this? You can hear a fairly good version (albeit a bit abbreviated) here:
