    Thanks very much for replying, so it seems most recent phone batteries will be Li-ion, NiMH and any other types that are around, i didnt know about the mAh (milli-amp hours) but that is helpful also, thanks for the quick reply i appreciate it.

    I suppose the really old ones are likely NiCd... but I wouldn't expect to see too many of those anymore.

    As for advice on batteries: it's all about the mAh (milli-amp hours), the more you got the longer it lasts. I'm not really sure what kind of information you were looking for.

    Does anybody know the different battery Types/Grades used for Mobile/Cellular phones, i know its a bit of a geeky question but id be glad of any advice about this please.

    I know theres: Li-ion, NiMH, any others?
