I don't have that phone anymore but when I did have it I just gave up anyway because the C1300 I originally had I recieved in a trade but that one broke and I got a new one from Cingular and having high hopes that heres a brand new phone maybe now I can unlock it, WRONG, same thing happened. Like I said I just gave up but I do think you have to get a cable and unlock it that way because I'm pretty sure you can't just input a code.

When you say restricted, what exactly is restricted on the phone?

when you send the e-mail say you need your phone for business while traveling overseas, also include your name, account number, cell number, phone model and make, and yes your IMEI number..

call again and try a different rep, now keep in mind that they will not just unlock a phone on your say so alone, you have to have a good reason like "travelling overseas for businness" that's the reason i used, when i get home i'll give you the e-mail address where you can request your code..

Thanks for trying to look out for me. I tried calling Cingular though and the lady answered me like we absolutely do not give out those kind of codes so hopefully I can find some help unlocking, my Nokia was really easy I thought it might be the same for an LG.
