    850 use in florida, massachusetts, carribbean.
    900 use in asia.
    1800 use in europe.
    1900 mainland u.s and canada.
    this have nothing to do with you reception.
    frequency works if you in diff state or country.

    all things being equal, i prefer the nokia 3120 to the 6010. i have a question about what the MHz of the networks means.

    the 3120 operates on 850/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS networks

    the 6010 operates on 850/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS networks

    what exactly does the difference mean? does the expanded range of the 3120 mean better reception on the same network (this is my most important criterion). thanks for any info!
