    Oh no please don't just throw it away. You could at least donate it if you decide not to ebay it. What kind of phone was it again? Unlocking does work but not with verizon as they don't take sim cards.

    yes sim card is different, verizon uses cdma. you dont have to throw it away. ebay it and you might be able to recoup some of the $.

    Can't say for sure but since you have a cingular phone and most are sim card phones I doubt you can because Verizon's phone's don't have sim cards. I have cingular and am thinking about changing to T mobile, I have gotten my moto unlocked so I know it iwill work with T mobile as I can just pop my sim card out of the T mobile and put in my moto phone from cingular.

    ok- i am technically challanged. This may be a dumb question but:
    I am planning of changing from cingular to verizon. I will get a new phone from verizon. Is it possible to use my old phone (motorola) as a second phone with verizon and if so what must I do. Thanks
