Here is the solution for data transfer A930 or any other phones listed in BitPim.
It took me for at least 3 days to figure it out. First of all, I would like to thank you all giving me info. It is simple as 1 2 3. Here we go...

    1. I bought Vcast Music Essentials Kit from Verizon Shopping mall
    2. installed Samsung USB driver from the CD
    3. installed BitPim (Welcome to BitPim)
    4. BANG. It recognized my phone and sync. all the data from my phone.

    SIMPLE enough?

Are we talking about "20060726104406250_PCLink2003_770-A930_ZF09B.exe" software from Samsung site?
I bought Vcast Music Essentails Kit cause of the data cable. I installed USB driver included and installed PCLink2003-700. After installation, my computer recognized my A930, but not PCLink2003-700 eventhough the Port set up was correct. Now I am stuck...
I am concerning to buy Mobiledit...
But they do not have the product matching with A930.

Try to set MOBILedit to the a950 instead of the a930. It might be able to recognize it that way.

    MOBILedit does not support A930.

I think you need the software from the service provider that comes with the cable.

Which software, if any, would allow for uploading ringers, application, pics to my phone
the software I currently have only allows for sync'ing phone book, and downloading pics off my phone
