    check if that lg is unlock. if that lg is not unlock it only take the service provider of that lg not any other service provider. if that lg lock to cingular and put cingular sim in it your not gonna have a problem. it work fine.

    If your friend is a cingular costumer, I don't think there is any problem using your SIM card in his phone.

    I have my cell service through cingular, and recently my nokia had a bad accident with the washing machine Well a friend of mine has a lg flip phone...my sim card in my nokia is working fine, but will it work in the lg?? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated. Im lost without my phone
