This was apparently resolved in the Snapper.

Additionally, although I haven't tried it yet, changing the faceplate may allow more bleed-through of the ring.

The reason its like that is because of the design of the phone

if you look, the ring comes out of the speaker in the phone, its not an external speaker

so its loud when the phone is open, but when its closed and in your pocket, its quiet

You were right. Everytime I tested it I had the phone open, so I could never tell. Blasted phone. THank you.

i thought my fone had the same problem but i noticed that if the fone is open then the ringer is really quiet, but when it is closed it is loud. That might be the problem, either that or you have a defective phone.

Hello, I have an Audiovox 8910 from Verizon that just can't seem to get to a higher ring volume. I have set it to level 5. When I preview them in the settings dialog, they are loud and clear, but when I recieve a call, the ring is very very soft.

    Any help is appreciated
    Thank you,
    ARcanUSNUMquam.
