Were you talking with someone in their retention dept? it seems odd because when i ended my service with Sprint about a month ago their retention dept was offering me a good plan and a good deal on a new phone but unfortunetly i had to cut down on extra expenses and Sprint being that my contract was fulfilled was one of them.

Out of curiosity who's your service provider now?
    Hi Tony,

I don't know about their retention dept but the lady I talked to first was OK then I was switched to this guy after I told her I was terminating my service. Was that their retention dept?

I did ask for speaking to the supervisor but the guy completely cut me off saying he was the working supervisor. Then I asked for his boss but he won't connect me just saying his boss would say exactly the same thing he had just told me... blah, blah, blah... By the way he did offer me some deals earlier but it was not as good as I've got from Cingular and I told him it was too late alreay because I had already activated all three phones from Cingular (cheaper family plan with roll over minutes and better coverage, especially in the east coast and New England because SPRINT PCS sucks in those regions' rural areas). As soon as I told the guy that he blew up...I was actually shocked to experience the way SPRINT PCS CUSTOMER SERVICE treat their long time royal customers. They talked like you you were an idiot, didn't know anything about their great packages, and you had made a big lifetime mistake switching to other carrier....blah, blah, blah...I told him I had researched the websites and decided the best package suited for me but he was really pressing me down to cancel the new one and switch back to them...I told him it was too late and he was not happy.

Anyhow, I have decided to move on and spend my money else where.

Thanks for listening and I apologize for my mad reaction dealing with SPRINT PCS.

Being ~10 years of good customer (never late in payment, left a lot of unused minutes, never complained even been dropped so many times, got charged every time they roamed me...) I felt totally betrayed, harassed, disappointed, cheated...raped by SPRINT PCS. One thing I don't quite understand is why do they treat customers like this?

Anyhow, I am glad I am no longer with them and good luck to y'all.

JB, sorry to hear about your bad experience with Sprint, but please follow forum rules when posting.

Better luck with your new carrier.

JB I can understand your frustration and don't take this as a defense for Sprint.

My DIL worked there for a year and the PRESSURE they put on their customer service people is un-fair, un-real and just un-freakin believable!! The pay is lousy, hours suck and you get written up or fired if you can't sell some extra service or plan to a customer that is already fed up with their sorry company. I am sure that all wireless companies are about the same but I was able to learn about Sprint at its' best.

After ~10 years with SPRINT PCS I have decided to switch to another wireless carrier simply because they have a better package suited for my need. I had a couple of questions about my final payment so I called up SPRINT customer service...after the jerk found out I have switched he became freaking rude asking why I switched....I tried to be calm but the jerk was very rude to me. From now on, no more SPRINT PCS for me and I am going to tell every one about their bad customer service....

Sorry for the rant and execuse my SPRINT PieCe of Shiit language....
feel a bit better now. Sorry for my mad reaction dealing with Sprint!
