Thanks for the tip Boss. The only reason I suggested EBAY was because all three came together in one package, but you are right about the warranty and return policy. I guess it is probably woth it to buy them offline.

First, don't buy either off Ebay. You can get both at Best Buy, Staples, Walmart, Radio Shack, etc for about the same price. Buying them offline means you'll have them right away, you'll get a warranty, you'll be able to return them right away if for some reason they don't work and trade them in for something that does...the list goes on.

By the time you get the stuff off Ebay, pay for the shipping and handling, insurance, and most importantly, the time, you could have everything loaded and enjoying it by the time the person you bought it from thinks about sending it out....not to mention, you'll probably end up spending about the same amount.

Spez did you get the mini SD Card for your 8100? I think they are available on ebay. The card, reader, and cable in one package.

You can load your memory card up and listen to all the mp3's you want. Also with the new version, you are now able to use the front buttons to control the music.

Is it possible to play just mp3s through the 8100. Without them being ringtones. Just so you can listen to music. Thanks

The 8100 can play true ringtones but, unlike the 8000, you can't mail them to your phone (the new Verizon UI has a block on it). So you are either going to have to buy them from "Get It Now" or get a cable.

Yes, yes you can. Even better with the v4 upgrade.
