Yes I even searched for any files connected to siemens and deleted them. I also deleted the system file for all usb device drivers and reinstalled the ones I wanted.

Did you uninstall it from Add/Remove programs or device manager

I have unistalled the siemens drivers a dozen times but whenever i plug the cable in so that windows can detect it, the siemens drivers are automatically installed. It wont use the nokia drivers that came with the cable even though they were installed before i even attached the cable.

I used to have a siemens phone and so have the drivers for it on my computer from when it was connected.

I now have a Nokia which uses the DKU-5 Cable but whenever i plug it in mu computer uses the drivers for the siemens cable and so recognises the DKU-5 as a siemens cable.

Because of this i cant get any nokia phone to connect using the cable.

I cant get rid of the siemens drivers, every time i try it still picks the cable using the siemens drivers and not the nokia ones.

Does anyone know how to rectify this?
