Well at least you know with the 1.3 megapixels the new pics you take with the 8100 will be great. Any luck yet with transfering data from 6000 to 8100?

Ah man! I have sooo many downloaded ringers on my old phone and pix I wanted to transfer, I hope there is a way to cheat in the future! But thanks for your help! I'm anxious to try out the MP3 player..

I haven't heard of a way yet to send or cheat ringtones/wallpapers to the 8100. You can't just put them on the phone, nor can you put them on the SD card and use them. Same with pix's. The phone has to be tricked.

You can get your SD Cards anywhere. I bought my last one from Walmart (512 MB) for like $30. Your SD Slot on your laptop will indeed read and write your card.

As for how much each holds, well the average mp3 is about 4 megs. So divide that into 512 and you should be able to get about 130 songs on it....give or take. Double that of course for a Gig card.

I just got my VX8100 earlier this week and I love it so far, going from my VX6000 to the VX8100 is really cool, it's like night and day. Anyhow...I was just wondering what's the easiest way to transfer my ringtones I downloaded and pix I took on my 6000 to my 8100? This is possible, right?

Also, where should I get my mini SD card from for my 8100 and what size? 512 MB or 1 GB, how many mp3's do each hold? My laptop has a slot for SD, so hopefully transfering mp3s to the card will be simple. Thanks for any help you guys can provide for me!
