I am having some wierd interference problems... Wanted to see if anyone else experiences this. I have a Netgear 54 Mbps Wireless Router model #WGR614 v3. Every once in a while people would say that thier call would go straight to Voicemail and I would dismiss it that I was dialing a number at the time or something like that. I also started noticing that if I was on the phone longer than 10 minutes or so, the phone would suddenly lose connection. All of these symptoms happend when I was at home though. After many calls to Cingular Customer Svc, they could come up with nothing. I even upgraded my phone hoping that would solve the problem. My original phone was a Motorola V550. I upgraded to a Blackberry 7290 and to my dismay, I started having the same problems. I had a hunch that it might be my wireless router and unplugged it to see if it would make a difference... VOILA! No missed or dropped calls...
My question is... Is this an isolated incident with this particular router, or is it something other people have experienced as well. I tried to change the channel on the router to see if that would help but I got the same problems. I am assuming that its because of the frequency that the router transmits on. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
