The drivers and software must be installed before you connect the phone.

Uninstall and start over. Once you have installed everything, there are several install steps, connect the phone and Windows installation Wizard will take over and install the USB as a phone modem. be sure to watch the messages at the bottom right of your screen, it should say something like "installed and usable".

Well, it does the same thing to me. I use DataPilot to send ringtones and graphics to my phone. . .

I have a C1300 phone, and a USB data cable. I've connected the cable to the PC and installed the drivers. The problem is that whenever I plug the cell phone into the computer, the phone just charges, and I don't see it in the "My Computer" folder. Does anyone know how I can turn off the charging feature? I am running Windows XP. Thanks.
