    www.truckerphoto.com/morepages/lg5450.htm has detailed info on how to make BitPim work. I have used BitPim with the LG LX5450 and it works great, the image software that is supplied with the cable only works on the VX6000.
    You must be viewing a pic on the phone in order to open the cam file. Be very careful not to modify any of the files in the phone or your phone may stop working. Print the instructions and check off each step to be sure you did everything corectly.

    Now understand I haven't actually done it with BitPim yet, but I too have downloaded it and intend to try it this weekend. Read the 'online help' pages on Bitpim's pages. They talk about which models to select if you're not on the list. Their help pages are pretty extensive and look like they will help a lot.

    I have downloaded and installed the latest release of Bitpim 0.7.37 and am trying to access my LGx5200. That model is not included in the dropdown list for LG phones. Is there an equivalent model I should select?
    The "other CDMA phones" selection does not work
