I think they have to be assigned, or labeled in a gcd file, or something similar (My 8910 doesn't have BREW though)

    Try these:

Howdy, I just got an cdm-8910. Picked up a data cable off ebay (insten brand). got the curitel drivers. I am able to use pc-sync, qpst, bitpim, and brewsky to an extent. I figured out how to get my pics off, and add pics; however, When trying to add ringtones, I run into a problem. I can add the ring, through either bitpm or qpst, into my user/sounds/ringer directory, and I go through brew, exit out of brew, go into my media gallery and they are listed. However, the ring is not the ring, but just a random sound. I have read all kinds of threads - none of which seemed to help. Ntelos is my service provider, and I havent seen anything specific on that. Thanks for any help.
