    I found it on support.kyocera-wireless.com

There are a couple of KPD files, so you will have to find the right one. One is just KPD 2.x version which is the full version. Then there is a KPD 2.4 version which is an update file that requires a previous version.

    FYI KPD=Kyocera Phone Desktop

Do you have another phone to transfer the contacts to because you can copy the contacts file in bit pim and save it.

I wish that was all I needed it for. I cracked the LCD and need to get the numbers out of the phone.

The kpd for the slider sucks badly. If you are just wanting to do tones and wallpaper's then i would recomend bit pim. Thats what i am using and so far it works great.

BitPim doesn't recognize my SE44 slider. Is there a different model that I can tell it to use??

Yup, I concur. Only reason to use the Kyocera software is to backup contacts etc., but it is buggy - you'll quickly end up with duplicates caused by their software.
