    hi guys
    even i have the same problem with some numbers and some networks
    I live in india and use BPL mobile as service provider.
    Sometimes i get sms from few other numbers which are not from bpl, it says Reply Centre Defined just below the sender's name...
    and i can't reply to that sms....i have to compose a new one and send..

    what's the problem and how it can b solved?

    u got to get on to nokia rather than o2. id imagin that its a problem with a hand set or take it bk. is it a new phone?

    i'm not an expert but i had the same problem when relplying to some messages, and i think it was because of the format of the number...the "+" was missing..

    The message centre is stored on the sim, so if it works in other phones then it isnt that, at a long shot you could try resetting your phone, this means you will lose everything you dont back up, if your up for it reply and i'll sort ya out.

    Is the message centre number down as if its a foreign number,
    By that i mean does it have "+" before it and the country code, then the first number dropped of the real number.

    What network are you btw, what country o2?

    Head into your message settings
    (Messagin > Options > Settings > Text Message) And then make sure the following are set up properly;

    Message send as : Text
    Preferred connection: GSM
    Reply via same ctr. : No

    I have a Nokia 6600 mobile and when I send an
    sms message it tells me message sending failed
    I have checked the message centre number and
    it is ok and I have tried my sim in another mobile
    and the message sends ok can someone please
    help me out.
