No.. I ended up calling Verizon and complaining. This was the 4th time in one year that I had to replace that particular model and was never really impressed with it anyways. They sent me a new phone for the difference in retail value. I now have the LG 6100 and couldn't be happier. A much better phone in my opinion.

    Hi Shibbey,

My situation is almost exactly the same as yours. Did you ever get any helpful suggestions or ways to hard reset the phone? Thanks in advance!

Due to some stupidity on my part, my cell phone was lost in some bushes for some time. Once I found it (yes it rained a few times) I tried charging it and turning it on. All I get is a repeating message that says "Please wait, User data is being restore....[1]". I have read several threads that have similar problem but with code 7 instead of 1 and due to tampering with data cables. I have never tried to use a data cable. I simply want my phone to work again. Is there anything I can do other than try to exchange it?

    Thank you in advance.
