At least it sounds like they are working on it. Be sure and let us know when you hear back from them.

I emailed a rep from Susteen, and he said they are working on the software for the C2000. He said it is a frequently requested software. He said he would add me to their e-mail list so I will be notified as soon as the software is available. I told him I would be happy to help beta test the software if they wanted. I just sent the e-mail last night, and I guess he is off for the weekend.

Will let Ya'll know when I hear from him. I also told him about the ad on Wireflys website. He said he will inform his supervisor so they can contact the people at that site.

That may be all we can do for now. But hopefully Susteen will be adding it very soon. I don't take that many pictures with the phone, and for the first month with Cingular I have unlimited sending. After that 20 a month for $2.99. More than I will need. I just eventually want to be able to upload pics to the computer. It is always nice to have a choice!!

I think I have the drivers installed, rofl. Not sure what to look for in the hardware list. Got the cable, but so far it claims it cannot detect the phone. I am not too upset. I suspect that soon Data Pilot will list the C2000 as a supported phone, and I will be all set. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong when sending pics to myself (shutting phone off before pink arrow was gone from screen!) And now the pics beat me back into the house, rofl.

Of course I do not have a clue what I am doing. I shut off the computer, hooked the cable to one of the ports right on the computer. Hooked the phone to the cable, opened Data Pilot and told it to detect the phone. I tried telling it I had make and model LG C1300 but no luck. I don't even know what I should look for in the "hardware section" of the control panel, rofl. Thank goodness I have good nerves, or I would be really having a fit right now!!!!!!

The cable had a URL telling me where to get the driver for the cable..... http://netvigator.com/~wjcorp9/dku5 I am pretty sure I actually installed the driver. At this point, I am ready for a looonnnggg nap, rofl.

I bought it from the Susteen site. Hope it is the same program, rofl. Guess it would have to be. Think the only difference is the one on the Wirefly is the kit with the cables.

I was reading the C-Net forum, and there were a slew of people gripping about the customer service (or lack thereof) from wirefly and the other name it goes by (uphonic or something like that.) Glad I got the software directly from Data Pilot.

Still waiting on the blasted cable, rofl. I think it is coming by way of Saturn or Pluto!!!!!

I am waiting for the arrival of the data cable I ordered. I purchased and downloaded Data Pilot, which according to wirefly.com website is guaranteed (by them) to be compatible with the LG C2000.

We shall see!!!!!! Hopefully the cable will be here within the next couple of days. Then we shall see!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck trying to get ringtones/musictones/pictures transferred to computer from the LG C2000 phone via data cable. I ordered a data cable and the cable I received says it is for the VX6000. I downloaded the drivers that the package said too. When I plug the phone up it is recogized on com 4, but I am unable to get any softwares to recognize the phone. I have emailed Datapilot and they said their software doesn't work with it yet. Any ideas on getting it to work with the data cable?
