boost is prepaid nextel. You can only change the Nextel at the top of the screen by changing the letters inside the phone. It is not so cool. So if you want to get rid of the nextel you will delete every N E X T L out of your phone. All names in the phone book all text messages and soo will be missing those letters. So it is just as easy to say it can not be done.

Hi, I'm just got my nextel phone and I'm trying to figure out how to take out the word NEXTEL in the beginning of the screen and change it to something else. Can someone help me on that... and what do you mean when you by "boost"???
