thats not the case at all. Very seldom does the driver and guy in the turret make it out of a firefight, lol! At any rate, we've only got a few more days to wait and we can play all the time, lol!

Heh, seems like we post in the exact same threads...thats great if you can actually shoot the people out of the vehicles because there are countless games in which players are pretty much invincible once they hop in a vehicle.

I don't think that will happen. I could be wrong, but it didn't seem that was the case on the beta. Usually what happened was either the seals or terrorists tried to get all the vehicles and hold them at their base and use one once in a while. It is easy to shoot the driver out of the vehicle, and even easier to shoot the guy mounting the turret. If you ask me the turrets are a death trap.

Also, if you make a room you can make it without vehicles.

I'm concerned that Socom will turn into a game like battlefield where the vehicles dominate the gameplay...I sure hope not

I've had SOCOM 3 pre-ordered at ebgames.com since the end of march. I was also one of the lucky ones who got chosen to beta test SOCOM 3. Let me tell you, it rocks! Players actually go down when you shoot 'em! Sniper rifles suck, there is no longer a 1 shot kill (unless its a headshot). Airbursts are kind of cool, but take a bit to get used to.

Im interested in how that game turns out. Meanwhile I'm playing Battlefield 2, anyone here play that?
