What did you tell them to make them drop the case?

I have similar situation as you did. Except that they called me and won't change their mind.

    Thanks!

It seems Cingular has the fairest early termination fee. 10$ a month for each remaining mth. on the contract. That should be a standard.

Thanks, cseabourn, I did call cingular and was told there is a flat fee of $10 a month of the remaining contract, so $20 bucks ain't bad for a penalty. Pretty sure I'm going with Verizon this time. Right now I'm just trying to decide what phone to go with. Thanks again for the come-back, hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

So I don't know exactly what the prorated amount would be but they will charge you. Since you are as far as you are in your 2-year agreement it might not be that bad, but I would ask Cingular CS first.

No problem. I'm sorry to hear that T-Mobile will not work for you. However, I am glad that you used the Coverage Check Tool. It would have have been horrible if you had signed up without knowing T-Mobile will not work. This is why I like using the tool. Take it easy and best of luck finding a good cell provider.

Thanks RRODRIG30, I checked out T-mobiles url. Would be great if the other providers had such a site. T-Mobile is definitely not the one for me however.

Type in the address of the area you would like to see, or just type in a city in general. It's a great tool that I use at work all the time. White areas are where T-Mobile will not have any coverage, which sucks to see but the Coverage Check tool saves those particular customers and me time because we both avoid a cancellation before it starts.

Which cell-phone ser. provider has the best coverage in the State of Tn.
Am currently using Cingular, thinking about changing to Verizon. Would like to know what you think or what you may have experienced with Verizon or other carriers. Thanks, clay
