    this has been available through nextel for quite some time back to the old falcon series phone days. it just requries an aditional fee.

    Well I found my answer. Apparently you can, depending on the carrier.

    Somebody I know has Nextel service on their cell. She said she can get online with her computer going thru her cell using a data cable (which she don't have, so she hasn't done it, but claims the service exists). I disagreed.

    Now I know you need the cable to get data from your computer to the cell phone...but to get internet on your computer thru the cell? I never heard of this. Is this true?
