I was wondering about this myself also. I use T-Mobile though. I am too scared to even sign on because I am afraid of charges.

Anyone know the answer? I need to know this myself.

Hi, I'm a new Cingular customer and just got my new Samsung e317 which has AOL Instant Messenger on it. I was wondering, does it charge me everytime I log on to it from my phone? I'm well aware that it costs to send/recieve IMs but what about actually logging on and staying on?? Is it going to charge me for being "on the internet"? I certainly hope not because I've been on and off AIM many times since I got the phone...anybody know this? I don't want to see any surprises on my bill!
