I think the FAQ's were very newbie friendly.

Any fan of Johnny Depp is welcome ... and CPF is just a small corner of the bigger scene, we run things our way 'cause we're generally all nice folk around here and kinda want it to stay that way!

That's great! I do remember some of them getting deleted and understand the system now for advertising. I thought I was pretty computer savvy (Pirates of the Carribean word - I love Johnny Depp) but realize that I have a lot to learn. And I find I quite like CPF to school myself. Thanks for your help.

I deleted a few of your early posts as straight out advertising, remember? if you are answering a question specific to your business, like "Yes, we offer unique cellphone holsters - click the link in my sig to see"** its never a problem - but adding a plug to a barely related thread will usually get it deleted.

Many of our Avatars are animated gif's - you can find your own on the net (I think the max dimensions are 100x100 pixels) and upload it via your user CP

**how was that for plugging your site? hmm?

The FAQ's are not so confusing - I am still learing some of the abbreviations, I guess. How do you get that cute little moving picture in your profile?

And please... if you found the FAQ's confusing... show me where? I wrote a lot of it and still consider it a work in progress!
