    well you can do an inter-company switch. Keep the same plan if it is current and keep the same phone number. So someone that did not know any better would think that they were using a sprint phone on nextel. you do loose the dc number

    Thanks for the defense but um yeah I heard it was done didn't actually see it working I didn't think it cud because sprint fones don't use sim cards

    This is IMPOSSIBLE. The main reason is because Nextel and Sprint run on two different technologies. Nextel is iDEN, and SPCS is CDMA. There is absolutly no way to put a SPCS phone on Nextel or visa versa. There is speculation that Motorola is creating a iDEN/CDMA phone, But its pure speculation.

    hey i got a little problem... just lost an 860 and im loookin for another phone... i was wondering if sprint phones such as treo etc cud be placed on a nextel plan. Actually i know someone who has done it already and it works fine i think except the chirp feature... Please tell me some more info
