If there were such a thing as a Bluetooth digital recorder you'd have it made... I did a search and found some products that are designed to help folks suffering dyslexia that might be adaptable? The low tech solution would seem logical to me... another possibility would be messing with an FM transmitter - but that seems to be more trouble than it is worth...

As a journalist, I need to record my interviews, and I'd like to be able to do this over the phone as well as in person. I'm trying to figure out how to do this on my cell phone.

Short of getting a voice recorder on a phone (which doesn't seem capable of recording lengthy interviews yet), I'm thinking it might be best to see if I can somehow rig a digital voice recorder to a cell phone. I imagine there must be a way to do this with a bluetooth-compatible phone and Palm pilot with a voice recorder, but I'm not sure how to set that up.

The other option is that you seem to be able to buy these microphone things that stick onto the earpiece on the phone and plug into a digital voice recorder, although that seems so low-tech for such high tech tools.

If you can redirect the input/output from a cell phone to a headset, then shouldn't you also be able to redirect it to a digital voice recorder?? Can someone with more technical expertise than I help out with this dilemma???
