I gave it a try but am not able to send anything from bitpim to my phone. My BT dongle software recognizes my phone but anyting I try to sent to phone is rejected or says incorrect format. I guess verizon has everything locked down.

I can send a phone contact from my razr to my 9800.
From outlook I was able to send a contact but somehow it only send email address and not phone#

Does bitpim work with 9800 and a BT dongle plugged to your PC? I have BT dongle software and drivers installed, it came with the BT. I use it with moto tools for my razr. Now I have a 9800 and want to use bitpim like i use the moto tools. Possible? easy?

Does this only work with a specific data cable from the specific company that makes it?

The cable I have is a FurureDial product so I don't think the link you sent will work

I did manage to check the futuredial website and they don't have the driver updates for the cable
