I don't know if this is your exact problem, but the Mobile IM app that comes with the VX9800, the "V" from Verizon only shows the buddies on your "Mobile Buddy List". You may need to use a PC to make big changes there. Hope this helps. Oh, and only like 30 can be on the list.

i only see 4 buddys online and like 2/4 of my buddys offline... when i use to have the sidekick it showed my buddy list like how its set up on my PC. anyone have this problem also?
