id be careful with using a Virgin Mobile. They operate on the sprint PCS network which does not get very good reception. you should look into other service providers that operate on better quality networks like Verizon's or even Cingular's

no, in lacrosse, it looks like it covers the city (50,00 people) but it cuts out everywhere.

i just wanted to show you how drastic the lines for virgin's coverage are drawn, as sprint runs mainly along major transit lines, ie interstates.

that is some good coverage, I wonder why they dont expand the coverage in the big cities like Los Angeles?

have you looked into amp'd mobile. they have some cool phones, but not sure about the coverage/service/cost factors.

The only thing is that you might be covered but will you have reception/signal. I'm not saying don't get it, but you don't want to purchase a nice phone that you can't really use. If you don't have any reception, then the phone is really useless, because you can't reactivate it on another service. I dont think I will be needing it in rural areas because I live in the city and i just checked Virgin's coverage map and it covers a lot in the city so I guess I'm good
