how in gods name do i make a wallpaper fit the front screen?

i took a pic with my cam and it fits the inside (main) screen perfectly, but the outside one centers it, and it looks like crap with the bars on the sides.

their stock pictures of the vcast logo and crowd of people seem to fit perfectly...

if the cam can not take a pic that fits in that screen, im gonna be pretty.. upset.
