i once did sprints promotion, and no offence to u.. but, they messed me over BIG TIME..i called the day before the promotion was to end, so i wouldnt have to pay for it the next month, when i never used it.. ( power vision and sprint tv etc )...what did sprint do? lied, they told me it was OFF my account, little did i know, the next month, they decided to charge me TWICE, 25.00. i had to pay 50.00 for something that was SUPOSE to be promotional with my 450.00 sanyo 9000 that i paid for CASH! never again will i trust anyone at sprint, thats not the first, second, third..actually its about the 6th time theyve over charged me or told me soemthing was takin off when it wasnt, and ive reffered about 9 people to sprint, i got ONE referral credit of 25.00. i was so upset that i gave up with them. i promoted them to the fullest, brought them MAJOR business and they STILL managed to mess me over as well as ALL of the people i referred, so it made me look bad to all of them. everyone has since canceld sprints contract early, except for one, who is waiting for the contract to be up, same as i. im done with sprint in couple months, see ya layta.. no offence dood but, they have HORRIBLE customer service, yeah.. the customer reps like to hang up and yell over customers, not very nice. but anyways, yeah.. i dont know why i got into all this lol.. oh yeah, basically cause the promotional plan, i tryed out promotional plans before and got myself in a big jam with sprint. a jam that costed ME 50.00 +... very upset sprint customer!!!!!
ps.. when i did the referral credits, ALL customers HAD waited the 30 day period before entering the credit, AND i only tryed ONE per month, after each of their inital 30 days was up. when i asked customer reps on franiklin st in boston, they said " i dont know, we didnt even know u could get 25.00 more than once".. um? hello! do they not train u guys? turns out i not only taught them about the credit plan but i sold an 8300 to a woman and her friend! i was so excited.. i am such a great salesman.. i should be a salesperson some day!!! =)
oh yeah, again, this is NOTHING against YOU personally or anyone else, i am absalutely NOT attacking u, i want u to know that. i was just venting my frustrations with prior experiences with sprint and trying to show u, i was and STILL am a good customer to sprint and in the end, they dont care, it doesnt matter, they are out for money and money only, not customer satisfaction and service. that upsets me, alot. i dont want to put companys against each other but tmobile is my new service provider * yes i have both companys, until sprint either changes their reps attitude AND comes out with better plans and pricing OR until my contract is up in a couple months* =(
so long sprint, i will miss u... it was incredibly good in the begining =(

ok, i want to make sure this is true:

Originally I purchased a sprint contract with mm8300 phone from walmart. it was a two year and the phone was 49 bucks.

i then found this deal and tried to get sprint to do the deal with the phone and number i have already. obviously now i couldnt.

the rep told me to buy the new phone and 30 dollar discounted contract and when i get the new phone in, to cancel my original plan.

today i cancelled my original plan. i asked the rep do i have to go back to walmart and return the phone, and hand other forms to them, etc? he said, not if you already paid for the phone.

so basically i got a second phone without a plan for 50 bucks? does this seem right? will in incure any charges in the future for this phone?

    thanks

    thanks?
I know this a late reply, but it will be helpful to others. Yestarday, I signed up for sprint. I found this offer today. I called the number and told them my situation. They told me to order it with them and purchase the phone. When I get my phone I am to cancel my contract with them from yestarday and return the phone to the store.

Unfortunately, I loose my ported phone number because of this. It sucks, but oh well, I rather have a sick deal for $30 a month...

    thank you...

I have been surfing the net trying to decide what cell service to get. This great deal made up my mind. Signed up today.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Hope you get the 920 phone.
I'm going with the free LG225 phone and the $30 plan. I figure without this offer the same stuff would be $50 to $55 per month.

    Thanks again

    You're welcome!

No, the Plan Details doesn't show the amount of minutes.

As for vision, I would call cust. service just to be sure; but I think you will have the lower Power Vision pack.

I got my phone today and I just wanted to thank you for the offer. I have a couple of questions that I don't know if you will know the answer to or if someone else has called and asked Sprint. When I looked at my plan details on the website it does not state my anytime minutes, just $30 min monthly charge. Even on the current usage it does not show how many min included, it just shows Sprint PCS Fair & Flexible Plan.

    Plan Details:
    Adjustable Anytime Minutes
    $30.00 Minimum Monthly Charge
    AMERICA - ROAMING Included
    Nationwide Long Distance Included
Unlimited Night & Weekend Mins. Included
    Nights: M-Th 9PM-7AM Wknd: F 9PM-M 7AM
    Unlimited Vision Access
    Unlimited Mobile to Mobile
    Caller ID, Call Waiting
    Three-way Calling
    Voicemail

Should the plan show the 500 minutes? With the unlimited vision access, since I have a power vision phone does that mean unlimited power vision? There are 3 diff vision plans, which one does unlimited vision access apply to, access pack, plus pack, or ultimate pack? I figured I would check here first but I will call if I need to. Thanks for your help.

Also, I see that they added more plan and phone options!

There's a 500, 1250, and 2500 min plans for far less than what you'd regularly pay.

The Samsung A900 (Blade) is on there too now...
