If I were in this situation I would have just gone into buying new cell phones with two sim card instead of waiting....

there are many phones which do not support this dual sim mode therefore it is best getting a dual sim phone handset instead of an adaptor which works only in some phone handsets.

That is the downside of "dual sim adaptors" you they do not work on all phones.

I recently bought a dual sim adaptor for my friends phone and it does not work well because the phone doesn't support dual sim cards i am refering to the phones functionalities,

My personal advise would be buy a dual sim phone instead of dual sim adaptor...

im pretty sure that you are confusing the second sim card thing with the micro SD tray.

Nokia 6681 doesn't support 2 sim cards in 1 cell phone. however, there may be some softwares or some ways to use 2 sim cards in 1 cell phone.

I have a service called ProxyTalk through a company called ProxyComm. You can get an additional line to ring on your current cellphone, no matter who the carrier. It is basically a virtual number and works via a web portal like VOIP. The service is $25/mo for unlimited minutes. Let me know if you would like more information.

    Here is my problem guys...

I have the accessory that can hold two SIM cards to be put onto a single cell phone. It works with Sony Ericsson T610 where I can manually select a particular SIM card to be used by the phone. But now I have a new cell phone Nokia 6681. It a cool phone but the multi SIM option doesnt seem to work.It only detects one SIM card though it has multiline option. Guys if anybody came across teh same problem then please let me know if any solution exists. Damn I need that thing work yesterday.... plz... help...
