As for your question, you can actually put all three of those formats on some phones along with some others.

Without knowing the type of phone though, it's kind of hard to say (I am more into hacking though to tell you the truth, so maybe another moderator or member may help more on this).

PS..im also here for some advice,when i looked at a friends cell/mobile phone he had mpegs on itsent from another friend,the question is, Was it an mpeg/jpeg/gif
or a format im not familiar with that cell phones use?The content of his 'video' was a bit 'blue' btw .But what is the most popular format?
