How did you get it to work? I have been trying since day one to get MPT to detect my phone via Bluetooth, and it never has. Maybe you did something that I failed to try.

I am really new to this stuff. I just got a V3 and now I want to be able to connect it to my PC to download ringtones and other stuff onto it.

I read the FAQ above and downloaded the MPT program and then I went out and got a bluetooth adapter for my PC. I installed the MPT, then I get to the Phone Setup Wizard.

It asks how I will connect to the PC. There are three choices:

    1. USB

    2. Bluetooth

    3. Infrared

I choose Bluetooth and click next. Then I choose my phone, Motorola GSM - V3 (I'm using Cingular). Then I click next and the next screen says to insert the Bluetooth device and there is a spinning clock. I inserted the Bluetooth adapter into my USB port, but it never detects the adapter. THe clock just keeps spinning and eventually it stops.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
