You wouldn't need to get an unloced Razr just make sure it's from Cingular. If it is, you just pop in your SIM card and you're good to go.

I am pretty sure that since you already have your SIM card that is activated you don't need to activate it through your service. Since it is unlocked I'm almost positive it is "Plug-And-Play"

OK, I'm a newbie here, and have a few questions.

I've currently got a LG L1400 Cingular phone. It is a GSM Phone, so it has a SIM Card. I want to get a new Razr, but I am a bit confused. If I were to buy an "unlocked" Razr off of eBay, for example, what would all be required? Could I just put in my current SIM card and be all set, or do I have to contact my service provider and set it up, etc. I just am not sure if it is a "Plug-And-Play" by just putting in the SIM card, or if it is more involved.

    Thanks in advance!

    Matt
