Damn! Wish I had known about this 6 months ago. My cell phone was acting up, so I try and talk to my service provider and no help. I go to the dude that sold it to me, still nothing. Oh well. I'm sure they've finally figured out that I don't want it anymore. Ha!

Well to answer the first question, yeh..I just went through google adwords and added cellphoneforums.net to my "targeted" sites...google adwords is great!

...And yes Brad I still am advertising on the site, but I am not getting nearly as many impresions as I used to (think I got about 50 yesterday). I am still trying to fine tune my campaign, but CPF is still and will remain a part of it...

Per request of my peers, I have opted to do the right thing and give CPF their due. Now folks feel free to compare http://www.resellular.com vs http://www.celltradeusa.com . I would like to hear YOUR thoughts.

all of a sudden i am seeing banners for your site at the top of CPF. if this has anything to do with our conversation, then i applaud you for supporting us!

otherwise i'd feel like kind of a jerk if they were already there, but i think i would have noticed them before now. anyhow, this does sound like a great service and i look forward to hearing some genuine feedback from people who've tried both companies or possibly any other ones out there that haven't been mentioned yet. and good luck with your site

CPF does not condone advertising on this board. Please refrain from advertising products and other websites in your posts. A subtle link in your signature is tolerable in many cases.
pockets, CPF is a free site, but our paid advertising keeps it free. when you advertise your site for free here, you are cheating the site and our advertisers out of what is rightfully theirs. besides, resellular is not the only contract transfer service out there and i saw a banner on our site earlier for www.celltradeusa.com and since they paid for advertising on our site i feel this is a good opportunity to remind our members and guests to support our sponsors!!!

    Hey Spammy

This is no way for you to start promting your new company. Everywhere I go to do research on cell phones this dam company is mentioned and its making users angry. I see you spam the hec out of craigs list and all the other wirless boards. Why dont you pay for advertising like everyone else in the world. You act like you are mentioning this like you found them in passing but you are probly in fact either the owner, friend or relative ...

I hope you don't think Spamming works

    YOU CANT EVER TRUST SPAMMERS

thats good to know...i guess it would be wise to check up on your specific provider's policy on transfering. I looked into mine, and t-mobile doesn't charge...all they require is a credit check from the person taking over...pretty sweet.

However, some companies do charge a fee. "Transfer of ownership" which is what Bell Mobility calls it, charges $20 to do it. Used to charge $25. I know Telus once charged $35 to do it.

    http://www.resellular.com

Resellular has just launched their new service which gets folks out of their cell phone contract by matching them with people willing to take them over. Turns out all providers offer this "contract transfer" and this site just acts as a means of offering your contract to others.
