I'm pretty sure SD cards & miniSDcards won't work; if anyone is using one in a 6230 let us know make of card and firmware version of your phone.

There are issues with firmware versions and high capacity MMC's. Some workarounds are creating folders on the card to store your multimedia. You'll have to do this anyway to get your playlists organised Vyper is correct, there is also a 2GB card available:

According to Nokia's website, MMC 256MB Max, but I saw a site advertising a 1GB card that they guaranteed would work.

most nokia phone accept sd card but not sure if will accept 2gb. the one i have on my 6600 is 500 something mb.

I have just purchased a nokia 6230 and i was wondering what kind of memory cards will it accept?
Will a SD card work on a nokia 6230?
Will a miniSDcard work on a nokia 6230?
Will a MMC work on a nokia 6230?
Will a rs-MMC work on a nokia 6230?

Also is there a limit to how much memory a nokia 6230 can handle?(ie will i 2Gb card work on a nokia 6230?)
