Is it possible, that i can give one of you my password and you could try to do it for me? If not, that is okay, i can try figuring it out!! Every two seconds my phone goes off and i think i have an important email and all i have is "reply to post" etc. I like recieving emails when i get PMs though, cause i reply to those as soon as possible. So, its best to leave it on to notify me..
i had a bad experience giving my password to a very good well known friend who decided that would be a good time to turn on me. So, I would not even recommend you give your password to ANYONE

however we'll talk about it more on aol, k?

Or, if you prefer to receive email notifications for some threads but not others, you can go back to the top of the thread right after you post to it, and directly above the first post you will see "Thread Tools". This is where you can subscribe or unsubscribe individual threads. Hope this helps .

nic to the rescue, as always... i am such an idiot, i was JUST there and didnt even see that, i had "instant notifactions" checked off but i moved it to "no notifcations". i do want to let users and admin email me just incase its something important and im not on cpf.. so its okay to leave that.. thank you my savior!!! haha =)

To receive PM email notification try this:

    User CP

    Edit Options

Scroll down to Messaging & Notification...

Check the 4th Box: Receive Email Notification of New Private Messages

To eliminate thread post email notifications:

Under the same Messaging & Notifications, locate the drop down box.

    Choose "no email notification"

You should be set. Emails for new PM's, no emails for new posts in threads.
