OOPS I almost forgot, it's probably worth mentioning the standard mp3 format for ringtones is usually 30 seconds at 96kbps, but occasionally I have gone as low as 32kbps to reduce the file size. Wavepad will ask you what bitrate you want to use when you go to save the file as an mp3. Hidden Content

Also, unless you have a phone with stereo sound, you'll want to choose Mono, this will also help keep the file size to a minimum and the sound is better than if you recorded in stereo and converted to mono later. I hope I didn't forget anything else, it's past this monkey's bedtime! Hidden Content Hidden Content

That's some pretty good advice! Just a small clarification though, the correct url is Hidden Content and I was able to follow Aaron's advice to make an mp3 with a popular media editor called Wavepad, available at Hidden Content Hidden Content

Now, when you try to record the video that's playing in your browser with wavepad, you'll have to change the recording input to "stereo mix" and that should be all you need to do. If you have any trouble with this, just send me a PM and I'll try to help walk you through it.

Good job Aaron, I never thought of doing it that way!!!

Ok I searched a bit already, and I could not find much for comedy ringtones, does anyone have any sites with good free ones, or know places to download good short funny MP3 clips?
