It is true, I started to notice why am I not billed for protection equipment plan 5.99 ever were in my bill statement, well I decide give T-Mo a call, and they told me its too late and my acct is already past 14 days, but I explained that I did request during sign up, but they looked into memo and found that I did request one, then they added into no problem.. I'll always make sure insurance is must for any equipments especially expensive ones...

Lets say that you have a bill that is due for $95 and you just received another bill for $75 without paying for the first one. Well this brings your total balance to $170. In order to keep your service from being suspended since you went over your $150 spending limit, T-Mobile will require you to pay $70 to bring you back down to a $100.

Well a spending limit is for SmartAccess customers that limits the amount they can run their bill up to. So since your spending limit is $150, T-Mobile will suspend your service until you get your balance back down under $100.

    Why are you yelling?

If he tells them he is switching he is under contract and it will be grounds for cancellation and the early termination fee. Just have customer service deactivate the SIM that is lost and have the new service switched over to a new phone and SIM before the 30 days. If you have a question about being billed call customer service and ask them. They are helpful and will be able to tell you what you need to do.

They give 30 days to purchase another phone and turn your service back on. The only reason they should charge the ETF is if you take longer than 30 days or you asked them to cancel instead of suspend it.

If you want to get a SIM off ebay just buy from a seller that has lots of positive feeback, then no problem. You would only be risking $6. Or you can pay a huge markup at the retail store. Just an alternative.

bruuse, are you a smartaccess customer?

Often times, Smartaccess customer's confuse 2 things when paying their bill.
    1) Balance Due
    2) Spending Limit Balance

It could very well be that your Balance Due was $50, and the Spending Limit Balance was $51.75. If that was the case, then only the $50 was due. The remaining $1.75 is part of the charges that you will see on your next billing statement. If you are not a smartaccess customer, then I gotta believe that it is not a corporate T-Mobile store.

If you are a smartaccess customer, please let us know and I'll explain to you in more detail about smartaccess.

No Problem! If you get a chance, tell us what exactly that service charge is for when you find out.

Thanks alot for all your help cseabourn & RRODRIG30,Here's what happened,my phone bill was due on 2/21 so I go to the T-Mobile Store that is closes to me,with my money in hand @ around 2:45 and I talk to the guy working inside,he said the computer was down and I had to come back at around 4:00,I didn't make it back that nite so I had my roomate pay my bill cuz I was goinga be working all day and I wasn't goinga be able to get there on the 22nd.He pays the bill but told me he had to pay an extra $1.75 so my roomate asked him if the extra charge was for being late, and the guy said "no",he said theres always an $1.75 service charge.I will be going back to the store tomorrow so I can find out what it was for.Once again thanks

You can pay at any T-Mobile Corporate location. There is no charge for paying your bill. Click on the link in my signature to find T-Mobile Corporate owned locations.

$1.75??? Hmmmmm.... Sounds like a usage charge. Check your bill details (not the summary), and let us know if it was a charge for paying your bill please. To me it sounds like a call to directory assitance and a five text messages or 2 multimedia messages.
