Ok, i have found the network code for Kenya - Safaricom. I have added it to the list on the generator link above so now you should be able to unlock your phone.

If you need help, PM me with your IMEI.

Where i live, there is unlock shops all over. They take maybe 50 $ for it. You could just walk in to the nearest cell phone distributer and ask

What is the operator name in Kenya that the phone is locked to?

    thanks

I just tried 3 of the codes, and they didnt work. They dont have kenya listed on most unlocking websites.

Sorry if this question seems a bit silly, but where are unlock shops usually located, like just random ppl?

    thanks.

    Hi!

You can unlock it for free. You can use this to calculate the unlock codes:

    http://www.lur.nu/unlock/nokia_eng.php

Just follow the instructions step by step.

But be careful, you only got 5 tries. After that you need to leave the phone to a unlock shop to get it unlocked.
