yes for it to work on their network it would probably have to be their (Alltel) software.

My cell company (Cellualr One) recently sold out to Alltel. I recently bought the datapilot software to access the internet using my laptop and cell as I would use dial-up. I cannot get on the internet, Datapilot tech support says my LG VX6100 needs an software upgrade (so it will transfer data or something like that) does anyone know where to get this upgrade software? Alltel does not have it yet and I am wanting to use the above mentioned configuration to access the internet for my business.
Maybe Alltel is probably the only one that can do this for me?
